Overview

ReNew Market respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512. If you believe content on ReNew Market infringes your copyright, you can submit a takedown notice using the form below.

Submitting a false notice may expose you to liability for damages, including costs and attorneys’ fees, under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f). Only a copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf may submit.

What Your Notice Must Include

Per 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), a valid DMCA takedown notice must contain:

1. Your physical or electronic signature.
2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
3. Identification of the infringing material and its location on ReNew Market (specific URL).
4. Your contact information (name, address, phone, email).
5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the rights holder.

Submit a Takedown Notice

Counter-Notification

If your listing was removed and you believe the takedown was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification per 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3). Counter-notifications must include all six elements listed above plus your consent to federal court jurisdiction. Email counter-notifications to dmca@renew.market.

If we receive a valid counter-notification and the original complainant doesn’t file suit within 10–14 business days, the listing may be restored.

Repeat Infringers

ReNew Market terminates accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers under our policy. Three valid takedowns within 12 months will result in account termination.
